Privacy Policy
Effective August 10, 2026
CaseClover ("CaseClover", "we", "us") provides intake and qualification software for law firms. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers caseclover.ai, the CaseClover firm portal, and intake pages we operate on behalf of law firms.
Information we collect
If you are a law firm user. When you create an account or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and role at your firm. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information from Google: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only to authenticate you and operate your account. We do not request or access any other Google data, such as your email messages, contacts, calendar, or files.
If you contact a law firm through an intake page. We collect the information you choose to provide during the intake conversation, such as your name, contact details, preferred language, and the details of your potential legal matter. Intake conversations are processed with the assistance of artificial intelligence to organize and summarize the information you provide for the law firm you contacted. The intake conversation is not legal advice and does not create an attorney client relationship.
Automatically. We collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type, the page you arrived from, and campaign parameters in the link you used. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect intake pages from automated abuse.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service: delivering your intake to the law firm you contacted, enabling that firm to review and respond, operating firm accounts, securing the service, measuring how intake channels perform, and improving the product. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use claimant intake information for advertising.
Phone numbers and text messages
A phone number you give during an intake is used to reach you about that inquiry: by the law firm you contacted, and by CaseClover on that firm's behalf. If you tick the consent box on an intake page, the firm may send you text messages about your inquiry through CaseClover. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consent to texts is never a condition of representation and is never required to use an intake page. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. We record whether you consented, when, and the exact wording you were shown. Phone numbers collected at intake are never sold, never shared with anyone outside the firm you contacted and the providers who deliver the messages, and never used for marketing by CaseClover.
How information is shared
Intake information is shared with the law firm you chose to contact, and with that firm's connected systems at the firm's direction (for example, the firm's case management, scheduling, or notification tools). We also use service providers who process information on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and AI processing providers, under agreements that limit their use of the information to providing services to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CaseClover, our customers, or others.
Google user data
CaseClover's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign in solely for authentication.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service to the law firm you contacted and to meet legal and operational requirements. Information is encrypted in transit, and we apply access controls so that each law firm can only access its own data.
Your choices
You can request access to or deletion of your information by emailing clover@caseclover.ai. If your request concerns an intake you submitted to a law firm, we may direct the request to that firm, since the firm is responsible for its client relationships. Firm users can update account information in the portal.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. A parent or guardian may provide information about a minor in connection with a potential legal matter on the minor's behalf.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
